Wow, just look at all these releases by Tapulous in the past month! Tap Tap Revenge Coldplay, Tap Tap Revenge DMB, and now Tap Tap Revenge 2.5. If you haven’t heard already, TTR is a beat game, similar to guitar hero and rock band, except it’s for the iPhone. Some new features include:
- You now have themes for each song. Tapulous will be releasing them as time passes.
- Now taps have feedback. Different colors, means if you missed, ok, or if it was perfect.
- You can now import songs from your other tap tap versions
- You geet points for every song you complete including online games, TTR 3 will implement those.
- You can now mail battles to people
- And much more.
It’s truly amazing, what Tapulous can do. Tap Tap Revenge 2.5 is the best version yet. I can’t believe it’s free. So what are you waiting for, try it yourself!

Have you ever looked at the App Store and saw a great app that had a little message saying “free for a limited time”? How about the other apps that are always free? Those apps are hiding in the little corners of the App Store and have a small number of downloads. They may not be bad, however, just not found. If you have, then make sure to write down the name and author of the app! Then comment on this post with that information, so everyone else can find and download it. It will be a community of people who refuse to pay for good apps. So? What are you looking for? Look for some unpopular but promising apps and comment away!

Remember the good old days? You could go to a pizza parlor or movie theater or arcade with a few hudred quarters, and pop those babies into the game machines like there was no tomorrow. You could spend $10 a week without trying. One of the more successful games is Galaga, a top-down shooter. You shoot the little alien bugs and dodge shots. There are a few more features that make Galaga unique, however.
In Galaga, your spaceship can be captured by an alien. You can retake the ship by hitting the alien that holds your ship captive. Of course, if you miss and hit your ship instead of the alien, the ship explodes, destroyed. If you successfully shoot the alien, you regain your ship. You do not get an extra life. Instead, you get a double-fighter, like this:
There are also “Challenge” stages where the aliens do not attack you, but just move about. Your goal in these stages is to kill as many aliens as you can.
In Galaga REMIX, you have a choice to play the classic mode or REMIX mode. In classic, the rules are as I stated. You can choose to start off from any level you have previously played, will all your lives, but points starting at 0.
In REMIX mode, you can collect up to 3 fighters for a triple-fighter and have 9 different ship forms. You have unlimited continues, but each continue sets your score to 0. REMIX is a story mode, and has several bosses and “Challenge” stages. The graphics and sounds are redone, and there is a free play mode. You can chage the difficulty of REMIX mode.
In both modes, you can edit the amount of lives you start out with (up to 5), the rate of gaining new lives (how many points you need to get a 1UP), control scheme (accellerometer, slide, arrows), and more.
My hand hurts from typing this much about Galaga REMIX (that, and playing it). There are a whole lot of levels and even more of a replayability level. There are highscores to beat and a leaderboard. So? What are you waiting for? Buy Galaga REMIX NOW!!!!!

Apple has posted a page with a count down that shows how many apps have been downloaded.
