The Catholic Church gets on the train of technology. The Vatican has launched the ‘iBreviary’, an application that makes available to all through the iPhone and ‘Blackberry’ Breviary, prayer book containing the entire ecclesiastical year. iBreviary is an application designed for use online and pray the prayers for the iPhone and Blackberry. |
The Pontifical Council for Social Communications, said in a statement that iBreviary is an application designed for the iPhone, from Apple U.S., and its inventor is the Italian priest Paolo Padrini.
iBreviary is totally free and can be downloaded from the official website of the iTunes Store or directly through the iPhone terminal.
This application is a direct “intuitive and fast” to the prayer of the breviary of the Roman Catholic Church.
With this application, the Vatican said that the iPhone can be seen in Catholic circles not only an instrument of religious information, through which you can surf the Internet and reading Christian content, but also an apparatus open to prayer.
