Documents published today have revealed that Psystar is formally appealing the permanent injunction Apple secured against it in court. Filed on Thursday, the request to the US Court of Appeals&#8217; Ninth Circuit challenges the ban on selling Mac clones, the summary judgment and protections surrounding the details of dispositive (settlement-related) motions in the case.

The move makes good on a promise by defense attorney K.A.D. Camara, who also filed the appeal, to contest the defeat in court this past December. Without the legal option of selling Mac clones or the Rebel EFI firmware needed to trick Mac OS X into installing on non-Apple PCs, Psystar has had little choice but to cease most of its main business and has taken to selling t-shirts protesting the loss.

Google posted ads on their search results over the weekend which suggests that Apple will soon allow renewed its iMac, Mac mini and MacBook lines.
Search results Saturday in the Dutch and Italian mini-Google for the phrases &#8220;iMac&#8221;, &#8220;Mac&#8221; and &#8220;MacBook&#8221; includes Google AdSense ads, sponsored text ads come with most of the results, indicating the new models available. The ads include links to online stores from Apple, Dutch and Italian.
In the Italian version of Google, for example, a search on Sunday for &#8220;iMac&#8221; reguistro an AdSense account that said &#8220;Nuovo design, Ancora piu Sottile. All&#8217;Apple il tuo Configures the store.&#8221; Translated into English, the line read: &#8220;New design, more subtle. Configure the Apple Store.&#8221;

That REPRESENTED three percentage points over 2008, the market-research firm&#8217;s findings.
According to the report, 72 percent of Mac users have laptops, 85 percent of respondents Mac users also have a Windows PC.
Those households that own a Mac are also those with greater consumption electrónicade consumption. The survey found that 63 percent of households own an Apple iPod, compared with 36 percent of computer owners in general.
The report also reveals that Mac users have ingressos higher than PC owners, which explains that owners of Apple-branded devices have the most advanced technology
