Get back to nature in Animal Crossing™: Pocket Camp, the new Animal Crossing mobile game where you take on the role of campsite manager!

You're in charge, so you can decorate your own campsite however you like! Make it fun, make it cute, make it sporty—it’s up to you to craft the kind of furniture and amenities that will make your camp a must-see for animals visiting the area.

Steps to Creating Your Best Campsite
- Help Animals As You Explore!
While visiting different recreational spots, you'll meet new animals who could use a little help. They'll be looking for fish, fruit, bugs, and other things to get their camping adventures started—and when you help them out, you'll earn Bells and craft materials in return!

- Craft Furniture and Amenities
The craft materials you earn by fulfilling animals’ requests can be used to craft all sorts of furniture and amenities for your campsite.

Just open up the Craft menu and place an order with Cyrus, the hardworking handyman from Re-Tail on the Road. Then sit back and wait! Or, if you're in a hurry, you can move your order to the very front of the line by using Leaf Tickets. You can purchase Leaf Tickets with real money, or earn them through regular gameplay.

- Your Campsite. Your Way.
The joy of the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game is creating a space that suits you and your style.

Your campsite can be anything you like—from a traditional space that celebrates nature to a flashy fun house with concerts and rides. It's all up to you!

You can also customize your camper, visit your friends' campsites to get ideas for your own, and meet new animal friends as you explore recreational areas!

- Host Animals at Your Campsite
As you grow your friendships with different animals, they'll want to visit your campsite. Craft and decorate with their favorite items, and you’ll be able to host them whenever you like—even if you change up your decorations completely!

Note: This game is a free download with in-app purchases.

Note: A persistent Internet connection is required to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

I made a review when this first came put so here's my updated thoughts. A wonderful time consumer, I find it hard to put down. It really lives up to the legacy of the other Animal Crossing titles. The only thing I would change is adding more characters to the game. Other than that, this is a perfect example of what Nintendo can do to improve the mobile gaming industry. Well done. Full Review

really cute?? i adore playing this and am for some reason willing to spend forever cleaning out my phone to just update this. im incredibly excited for future updates and can't wait to see if my otyer fave villagers get added, making sure i have them in my camp is going to become an addiction i can tell. can be a little hassling to use, menus resetting every click through but that really is my only complaint! This is my first time ever leaving a review for an app but i just had to since i couldnt contain my excitment and love for this game. I pretty much have all versions (ds, wii) of animal crossing, and today just got better with now the app!! In the short period of playing, im so impressed by how easy it is to control and move my character. I love the gameplay where you can collect things by doing request and the graphics are also amazing (cough especially on the galaxy s8;)) overall i am so please so far! I love animal crossing since it came out on DS. and I love this one as it looks the exact same. however, I don't like the fact that u can't freely travel between each camp, there's no Nooks that gets bigger with a hair dressers nd all that stuff. I miss the old stuff from the old game. it would be cool to have the old stuff and the new stuff together to make it one big animal crossing! Full Review

Was super happy with this game... Until the latest update. Now it keeps telling me to move to an area with a better connection and I can't get past the title screen. Funny, it was working fine just this morning before the update! I've had zero issues playing it in my home and now suddenly I can't play it at all. Very displeased. Full Review

There isn't a whole lot to do right now. You get to fish, pick fruit and decorate your house. And you can talk to your neighbors (npcs only) It just lacks in certain areas. I wish you could explore the map, or move to different locations, plant trees, donate to the museum or otherwise display your catches, catch different animals depending on the time of day and year, visit the city, etc. Full Review

💜This is my 3rd time ranking this app. All I can say it's beautiful. The updates keep improving the over all gameplay. There is plenty of content. The controls, and graphics are perfect. My only issue is the quarry. It's a pain trying to get 5 people to help you in a limited amount of time. Keep up the good work Nintendo!💜 Full Review

Coming from playing Animal Crossing on DS since it came out, I love having Pocket Camp on my phone to kill time anytime. The game is very well made and there's always some sort of goal to work towards. I think it's silly but I like it. I've tried convincing all my friends to play to no avail, but I will continue playing so long as it never requires me to make micro transactions just to enjoy the game. Full Review

I've been playing animal ever since it came out on game cube. The hidden treasures, quirks, animals, and visuals have always left me in state of awh and perpetual nostalgia. Minor bugs pop up in it, but they are quick to fix. With the app many of my friends have begun to just taste the cult following that is animal crossing. 10/10 would recommend for everyone of all age groups. Full Review

I'm a big animal crossing fan. I still play on my 3DS but I downloaded this as soon as it came out for the US and have played almost every day since. I love having it in my pocket, sometimes I don't have time to grab my DS and play. The graphics are awesome, the animals are cute, the quests keep you busy. There's always something to do. I love that they don't make it impossible to save up leaf tickets. This makes it possible to have fun playing without buying extra. I'd recommend this game to anyone! My 4 year old son sometimes plays and picks fruit/catches fish. Full Review

I love this game. Sure in the beginning the game tells you about it's micro transactions. But after the tutorial it doesn't shove them in your face. I'm lvl 40 and haven't spent a dime. I play in the morning, lunch breaks at work, and before going to bed and in three weeks was able to craft all the holiday furniture and k.k.'s chair and invited 75% of the animals to my campsite. I've had this game for about a week now and I'm loving it! The gameplay is simple and fun, the characters are adorable, the furniture and items look amazing, and the music is relaxed and happy. The whole game just has that friendly, Animal Crossing feel to it. The one thing I don't like is how you have to place certain pieces of furniture to get different animals. I would rather just have to craft the furniture than place it, since I end up putting it away right after a new animal moves in. The gameplay isn't super exciting either, so I'm nervous I may get tired of this game and delete it. But it's nice to sometimes just play a game that doesn't make you work too hard. Full Review

I love the Animal Crossing games but sometimes they can be too time consuming and a serious commitment if you want to play the game well. However, this phone version is very casual and easy to play! You can play as much or as little as you want without your campsite falling into ruin because you haven't logged on in two days. I love that it has all the heart of the other Animal Crossing games but made sampler for the phone. It's a great game! Full Review

I wasn't really looking into this game very much at first because I thought progress would be too difficult without making payments. After playing it for some time now I can definitely say that progress is time consuming but addicting and fun. I love this game so much! It has a different feel from ACNL, which was expected, but I definitely love the constant need for interaction with the animals. The music and environments are adorable as well. Full Review

I have gotten sick of developers pushing microtransactions on us and basically creating games where you get to play to level 10 and then have to pay to do anything after that. This game destroys that. I haven't put a single penny in yet I've had hours of fun with this app. There are still microtransactions in the form of leaf tickets but they are not necessary and they aren't super expensive, so if you have the money to spend it's still worth it which means Nintendo is still getting a profit!! And the best thing: NO ADS!!!!!!!! This game is adorable, good vibes all around and lots of fun. It has made me want to buy the main series of Animal Crossing. I hope developers of money traps like Clash of Clans take notes. Full Review

I really want to like his but it just crashes ALL THE TIME. It's even worse after the gardening update. It would crash non-stop after about two minutes. I've tried reinstalling, but now I'm stuck in the loop I had before when it first launched where I can't link my Nintendo account due to null errors. Nintendo really needs to fix their server issues before trying to roll out more content. I can't even try to play anymore and it sucks. Full Review

A great addition to a beloved series of games. I love the cute look, premise, and customizing my camp site! The only thing I'd like are additions to the shops, especially the Nook furniture shop! I'd like to add that I have not once paid for Leaf Tickets. I have never had to use real money whilst playing. Full Review

I've always loved Animal Crossing games! So glad to have one on my phone. It's been great. Except, my loan amount keeps going back up. I had 25,000 left. Paid 10,000 and was left with 15,000. Next time I went to pay, it was at 25,000 again. Paid another 10,000. Just went to pay it again and it's at 20,000 instead of the 15,000 it's supposed to be. Full Review

Its cute but it's got nothing on the actual DS game. The design is gorgeous but the characters don't develop which was my favourite thing about the DS game, there's no way to 'collect' or track if you've caught all the available species of bugs/fish and no incentive really to do so. The game play gets repetitive as well but nonetheless a cute time waster Full Review

Wish I could give it more stars because I've been playing this every day for a while now, but today when I tried to play, it wouldn't let me play until I updated. So I did, especially because I was so excited for the garden section, but the second it finished updating, it stopped connecting. It won't let me go past the loading screen at all before it says there's no connection. Super disappointing. Full Review

Lots of Animal Crossing is here, but befriending Animals gets grindy and microtransactions pervade everything you do in the game, with arbitrary costs and timescales that skyrocket the more you play. Animals also seem to come from limited personality pools so they all feel very much the same sometimes. Full Review

I love this game but the recent update is a bit wonky on the data download. It was like this too the first time I downloaded this app. It keeps prompting me to move to an area with better connection even though my connection is okay. then I let the app run in background while downloading the data and voila... it works. but it's not downloading again if I let the app open instead of running in the background. please fix this. I love animal crossing.... So of course I love this game. Although I was left kind of grumpy without an animal crossing game for the switch... This game fulfilled my needs! Edit: I am experiencing a glitch after the garden & friend levels update where sometimes when I clicked in them while they were sitting on the lovely couch and/or lovely chair, their arms would stay in sitting position. When they'd grab something from their pocket... They'd rumble and their arms would kind if glitch around then the item floats over to the player... Mostly it happens with Apollo and Rosie. It happened with Kidcat once, though. I hope you fix it soon! Full Review

Glad to have an animal crossing game where I don't have to lug around my handheld console or when I'm on the go. Best thing that ever graced the market.
