I use this calender for everything from scheduling for my employees to my cross country flights. You can set reminders that alert you to flight status or departure times. Syncing my Calender, flights, emails and other google stuff is seamless and easy. I'm not very "techy" but google make it so simple I feel like I could run lines of code lol. Home run Google. You guys killed it. Full Review

Don't like the way it is now... I just want to put my appointments in.. not try to figure out if it's a goal, reminder or an event... Also, now people who I share my calendar with cannot see my new appointments... I really need that to change... Please go back to the way it was or please let me go back to the old version!! Or heck, if someone has a better idea on how I can go back to what I need please let me know... Google is fixing things that are not broken and I would be fine using another app... Full Review

Why is it the developers of Google have to mess with something that worked so well? The option of selecting a color for the events that you add to Calendar was so useful. It helped me distinguish between appointments for my husband, myself, my mother, Etc. Put it back please. This is the second time that the color option was taken away. Full Review

I don't really like any of the formats. The event title in calendar is too big and always cuts off text. The schedule only works if have stuff on every day otherwise it looks like some days don't exist and it's just confusing. It just didn't work well for me and usually I love the Google products :( Full Review

It has gotten worse as it became more cutesy, like other apps I guess. Entering and editing repeating events is broken, and how this is expected to work is unclear. I've gotten a few appointments set which won't let me repeat, and others which repeat at twice as long, as if it took the repeat rate and applied it to an already repeating event. I don't know why they decided to break it. Declining Quality Full Review

I used to love Google Calendar; I am quickly learning to hate it. Today, for example, I wanted to put in an appointment for 10:50 am. As soon as I tried, it popped in "Today at 3:30pm" and refused to show any earlier times. Just a solid yellow block with the wrong time in it. I have a bunch of history in it that I am reluctant to lose, but I am probably going to have to find another calendar app and just start over. Very unhappy about how they are ruining a once great application. Full Review

This app appears ok. However, direct use of the on line Calendar is limited. Specifically, does nor allow for start/stop times on quarter hour. This hinders accuracy when exact times are needed. Haven't checked this app for that issue yet. Full Review

Update: tried to organize my birthday party with this app. What a train wreck. Can't pull up the restaurant, since it forces certain other locations even though I am pasting the entire address from Google maps. Recipients can't be edited, removed or added even though I am the meeting organizer. People with email addresses can't be picked, people with multiple addresses.. forces one random address. TOTALLY USELESS. Take something that works just fine, clutter it up, and garnish with an impossible to use clock system (cant we just enter some numbers????) and then call all that "fun" an upgrade. utter #fail Full Review

Generally I like Google and it's user friendliness, but it's incredibly frustrating that I can't create a new calendar from my phone. I can't even access the desktop site on the Chrome app to do it. My phone is basically my primary computer while my actual computer is on it's last legs, so it's completely impossible for me to create new calendars. Full Review

Love the calendar app. Works great, very simple to use. But I would REALLY enjoy two things. A wider variety of colors to choose from for creating events. And, some option to add a grey tint to weekends. So when you are viewing your monthly calendar it is easier to distinguish between weekdays and weekends. Full Review

Declining quality!!! Not reliable when it comes to reminders. I always use reminders, but for the last couple of months (6+) they remind either too late (during apointment or after appointment)) or don't show up at all. I have been keeping an eye on it and and my last 4 appointments didnt give a reminder at all, they didnt even pop up at the time the appointment were supposed to be like its supposed to do when you dont use reminders! Plus appointments have gone missing as well. Google, fix this!!! Full Review

Exhibited no problems until a few months ago when it began to become slow and inconsistent with executing commands. Last week, all of my events/reminders disappeared across platforms, which could have been disastrous if I used it for work, etc. Many people did and reports and complaints of similar problems have been widespread recently. Of course, Google offers no actual personalized customer service or contacts, so nobody is getting any resolution, just boilerplate tips on the forums. Do better, Google. Full Review

I use this for personal, work and family sharing. When you really read into the settings and capabilities it really makes life easier. Add the widget to your phone main screen for easy reminders. I set reminders about things to do, things to watch, things to fix, people to call etc.. it's just easy to use in all those aspects. Integrates into Google home like a champ. When family share their calendar with you, remember you can check the box to see or hide any time without removing all together. Full Review

Just came to Pixel from Samsung. The Google calendar's squares are too small (I'm getting older) and you cannot share an event with anyone unless you email it to them from you Gmail. I don't use Gmail! On Samsung you could simply share the event via SMS...Kinda a drag.! Google calendar gives you that option, but it always seems to go back to the daily view. Full Review

I'd be lost without this app. Syncs well with the desktop website and across devices. Was great but getting worse. Firstly notifications aren't working reliably and I really rely on those not to miss things. Reinstall fixes this, but only for a while. Secondly, by Google inserting often random images for an event background, I lose the colour codes that are vital to understating of whether it's an event in my calendar or in my partner's and much more eg if we are committed to attend or it's just 'pencilled in'. This dumb picture feature should be optional or scrapped. I also hate having to choose event, reminder or goal. I use events for everything, with zero duration for a reminder only event. Works much better. Please let me choose that all new entries are automatically events. I'd have given a better score a year ago. Full Review

Goals are always added to the default (Events) calendar. Even after multiple updates since Goals was originally introduced user can't change that. I have shared that calendar years ago when it was my only calendar and I really don't want to spam my every Goal to those I have shared it with. Also I am not looking forward (as a workaround for lacking a simple feature) for moving every single thing from Events to yet another new calendar and share it instead. Yep, 2017-02-21 update didn't fix the problem. Still after 2017-03-06 update the problem exists. Starting to sound like a broken record but 2017-03-17 update left this issue as is. 2017-03-29 update kept everything as is, no surprise there. 2017-09-21 and still no change. Soon it has been ignored by Google for a year! 2017-12-14 update didn't do the trick. :( 2018-01-12 Nope, still not possible. Full Review
